The Employee Spotlight of the Month highlights a different person each month, not for any specific accomplishment, or any one specific trait, but because they are a valuable part of our team.  We will get to know more about each other and how we each add value to Medical Alternatives and our persons served!  Nominated employees are employees that embody our person-centered approach, are helpful, have a great attitude, and/or contributes to the team.

July 2021 Employee Spotlight of the Month:

Avis Bryant!

August 2021

Employee

Spotlight:

Angie King!

September 30, 1991….30 years.

With pride and profound respect, we celebrate Angie’s 30-year anniversary.  Angie started with MA on September 30, 1991. What an immense achievement….30 years! Angie has been caring for those with TBI’s for longer than most of our staff have been alive.

Angie has made our Glenridge home a haven for those residents who live there. Each resident knows that Angie will do all she can to make their home a HOME, not just a program admission. Angie’s attitude, work ethic, and dedication is a model of performance we all can learn from. What Angie brings to those we serve and to MA cannot be obtained easily or quickly, it cannot be Google searched, it can only be earned through years of doing a great job.

It is my belief that such qualities as honesty, empathy, loyalty, dedication, capacity for hard work, and genuine caring for others, cannot be bought or faked. These qualities either exist in a person or they do not. Angie demonstrates every day she posses these qualities in abundance.

Thank you, Angie, for the work that you do every single day for our residents. You are sincerely appreciated and valued.
