Semi-independent living bridges the gap between highly supported residential care and independent community living. Participants live in supported housing while receiving individualized guidance focused on daily routines, decision-making, and long-term independence.

This program serves adults with traumatic brain injury who can manage many aspects of daily life but continue to benefit from professional oversight, structure, and accountability. Support levels are tailored to each individual and adapt over time as skills and confidence grow.

Life Beyond Your Home

Connected to Community Life

Participants receive structured support with essential daily living skills that promote independence, consistency, and confidence. Support may include household management, budgeting, meal preparation, transportation planning, and the development of healthy personal routines. These skills are reinforced through real-world practice, helping individuals build habits they can rely on over time.

Staff provide regular check-ins and individualized coaching to help participants navigate daily responsibilities, problem-solve challenges, and stay aligned with personal goals. Support is tailored to each individual’s needs, striking a balance between guidance and autonomy while maintaining a safe and stable living environment.

Beyond the home, individuals are encouraged to engage in work, volunteering, education, recreation, and social opportunities within the community. These experiences foster connection, purpose, and routine, helping participants strengthen relationships and continue progressing toward greater independence in everyday life.
